Mr & Mrs Henderson 23.03.19

Well… today is the 2 year anniversary of my lovely friends, the fabulous Mr & Mrs Henderson! So… I thought I would share with you all some of the details of their wonderful wedding!
I not only had the pleasure of being their Wedding Coordinator… but also their Wedding Guest too!
Mr T grew up with both Sally & Jeff, the Bride & Groom… in fact, not only do him & Jeff work together every day (Total Work Husbands)… but him and Sally even share the same birthday!
First of all… let’s set the scene:
So, Jeff & Sally started ‘going out’ when they were both just 13 years old, kicking about in Amble!
Fast forward another 13 years to when they were on a weekend away in Filey, Sally opened the curtains in the morning and saw that Jeff had written in white stones underneath the balcony ‘Will you marry me?’ and turned around to find Jeff on one knee… an easy YES!
They had a huge engagement party, where I swear the whole town turned up to celebrate with them!
And then whilst Jeff Stagged it up in Dublin, Sally Hen Do’d her way through Liverpool. Mr T attended the Stag Do but apparently can’t give me any details… bloody boy code or some nonsense?
The Wedding:
VENUE:
Both the Ceremony & Reception were held at the Stunning Eshott Hall… a place I know very well!

Sally’s Dad drove her down to ‘The Chapel’ (Eshott Hall’s Reading Room) and walked her down the aisle to Ellie Goulding’s ‘How Long Will I Love You’ towards her Hubby-to-be, who greeted her with a fist bump… these guys are just too cute!

ATTIRE:
Starting with the Beautiful Bride, Sally wore a Wtoo by Waters Dress which she looked absolutely perfect in. I can totally see why she tells me that she immediately had her ‘this is the one’ moment in this dress… it was the first dress she tried on and she just KNEW! Her dress was from Leigh Hetherington Bridal Wear (Old Eldon Square, Newcastle) – Sally says that she can’t recommend this Bridal Boutique enough so, if you live up our way, get yourself there for a try on!
Sally had her hair & make-up done by the amazing Georgia at Meia – her make-up looked gorgeous and she wore her blonde hair down in fabulous waves with a hair piece bought from the Bridal Shop, Paris (MetroCentre) and a matching Veil from Leigh Hetherington.
Her Diamond earrings were her ‘Something Borrowed’ from her Sister and her Bridal Shoes were from Debenhams.

The Bridesmaids & Maid of Honour wore a mixture of Baby Blue & Baby Pink Dresses from M&S Bridal Collection, and the little flower girl dresses were from Debenhams, as were the Groom’s & Groomsmen’s Suits too. The Page Boy’s suit was from Next Kids. And didn’t they all look FAB…

GIFTS:
Sally gifted her Bridal Party with Pandora Earrings and Jeff gave his Groomsmen Personalised Hip Flasks.
EVENT DRESSING:
The Florist, Jade from JLT Flowers, did all the event dressing with artificial flowers, including the Bride & Bridesmaids Bouquets, the Corsages, Buttonholes and Birdcage Centrepieces. The pew ends were decorated in gypsophila & Lanterns.
They also had Chiavari Chairs hired in from Charlotte at The Finishing Touch Company and Little Sweetie Jars as their Favours.

MENU:
The bit that the guests love the most… the Food & Drink!

ENTERTAINMENT:
The New Mr & Mrs Henderson shared their first dance as Husband & Wife to ‘Stand By Me’ and then danced the night away with their guests to the brilliant band ‘Hip Operation’!… I was pregnant at the time… but I danced for as long as my swollen ankles could manage!
PHOTOGRAPHY & VIDEOPGRAPHER:
The whole day was captured perfectly by both David (David Gerrard Photography) & Jon (Top Table Films).
I absolutely LOVE Jeff & Sally’s Wedding Video… you can watch it HERE!

THE AFTERMATH:
After all the Celebrations were done, the newlyweds headed off to the Rivieira Maya Royalton Hotel in Mexico.
They now have a beautiful daughter named Minnie, who is the spitting double of her Daddy! She’s just a bit younger than my little Aurora, so I hope they will be great friends too as they grow up together!
You can immediately tell when you meet Jeff & Sally that they are absolute Besties, just laughing their way through life together… a beautiful couple inside and out, who I am very happy to call my friends.
Happy Anniversary you Guys!… *fist bump*

I hope you enjoyed this Real-Life Wedding Profile, hopefully more to come when things return to ‘normal’ and we get our freedom back… whenever that may be!
Lots of Love,
Mrs T x
